Our uniform and equipment return will held at the Prospera Centre equipment room this year.
Mini-Tyke, Tyke, Novice and PeeWee may return their uniforms on July 6 from 5:00-8:00pm
Bantam, Midget and any other players that were unable to make it on the 6th can return uniforms on July 25 from 6-8pm.
Anyone who is unable to make either of these dates will have to organize a time with Mark Dunn to return them.
Jerseys and shorts must be returned CLEAN and with only normal wear and tear in order to receive deposit cheque back. For players wishing to keep their shorts, they may be purchased to return time for a price of $25.00 (CASH ONLY) .
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Our year end awards banquet for Peewee, Bantam and Midget teams will be held on Thursday, August 10th from 6:00-9:00pm. Further details to follow.
Mini Tyke, Tyke and novice teams will be doing individual wrap up parties.
NLL player Kevin Crowley will be holding a Novice-Midget summer skills session on July 3-4 in Abbotsford. Novice/peewee 9am-12pm, bantam/midget 12:00-3:00pm. Early bird price of $65 in effect until tomorrow at midnight., then $75 after that. Space is limited. Please come out this weekend and support our coaches Chris Veenstra and Chase Porter (plus 5 other former Mustang players) as they suit up for the Valley Rebels Senior B Mens team during their home opener vs the Victoria Wolves 8:00pm Friday night at MSA Arena in Abbotsford.
If you can’t make it Friday, they also have another game Saturday at 4:00pm vs the Nanaimo Timbermen at the Abbotsford Sports and Entertainment Centre. That game is followed by a alumni game.
Tickets for either game can be purchased at the door. Adults $7.00, children 16 and under are free.
The Chilliwack Progress newspaper is doing a new feature called “Community Sports Stars” that recognizes young athletes from varying sports. Please note, due to very limited space we cannot accommodate all requests and they will be taken on a first come basis and will try to include all divisions
We’re happy to announce that Chilliwack has been selected to host a Level 1 – Community Development coaching course. The course will be Saturday, April 22 from 9am-4pm. If you would like to register, please email Chris (firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible.
If you cannot make this course but are still interested in getting certified this season, please let us know and we will find you an alternate date and location.
